So I've been doing a spot of cleaning today in preparation for next week's Halloween scare fest...Do you like cleaning? I enjoy it as I love the end result and I love the smell of bleach

Titz Towers, North Notts

It can be quite purifying for the mind once you get into it.

Does this mean we are allowed to rate how clean your place is for the party?

Scrubbed the pond today - every inch. Now spotlessly clean and very happy fish.

Going to do the bathroom later. Then the lounge and kitchen tomorrow.

Considering it's autumn there's a lot of friggin spring cleaning going on right now!

All I have done today is clean, due to having a meet, the flat has been reeking of the smell of bleach for a day or two now, I think it's a hint that I should clean more often

When I'm doing it , I don't enjoy it. When it's all done though and I've changed all the bedding too , it's a lovely feeling. I love the smell of Polish and Nothing better than getting into a bed with fresh sheets.

The wax is ultra hydrophobic so puddles have no effect. It'll still be washed every week anyway.

My car was washed at the garage when it had the first annual service, then I squirted it once at the jet wash before I got rid of it. And thats it.

Thats how the paint gets ruined. Garages andthose forecourt hand car washes use the same equipment for every car they 'wash'. What they end up doing is covering your car in tiny scratches called swirl marks (circular scratches you can see when the light hits it right). You can wash and polish your car as much as you like but it'll never be truly perfect until they're gone. I remove them and protect it from happeneing again.

not quick or cheap though, but cheaper than a respray.

Spend £100 on a good detail when you come to sell it and you can ask £500 more.

They say you can't polish a turf but you can if you know what you're doing.

Ah. But I don't have to spend hours polishing my dirt on!

It just happens naturally!

If only everything stayed clean once I've done it I would be so happy, unfortunately with a dog a puppy a cat and assorted teenagers drifting through I live in despair more than hope!

Hate cleaning, home making, house keeping or anything like that.

I hate it. I must get someone in to do a deep clean soon. Then I can just do the bits I don't mind doing.
