I like to keep my nuts (& a few other places) free of hair but I find shaving to be a bit too awkward and unreliable. I want to try wax or something that pulls the hair out, but when I go into boots to see what they have I'm confronted with too much variety, not to mention feeling a bit of an idiot as I did when when one of the assistants asked if I needed any help ("Yes, can you tell me which is the best to use on my balls?" - I think not  ).
So ladies, or guys I spose if any have tried it, any advice as to what I should look for? |

let the hair grow for a week or so, then wrap your nuts in ductape and then just rip it off.
Just make sure you don't rip your bollocks off though, like that bloke on the stag night knacker waxing contest  |

If you're going to be brave enough to wax on your own I would suggest getting small wax strips and doing a little bit at a time
The area you're covering is'nt the flattest or easiest to do
Oh and make your you pull the skin really tight in the opposite direction of the way you're pulling the strips off

be careful with cream i got chemical burns oowwwww and that was sensitive, now shave using a 2 blade non fancy razor after washing with anitibaterial soap and use hair conditioner to shave and only do it day of meet or clubbing for silky smooth, i still get a rash a couple of days later but thats just me xx |

The other week I thought I'd treat myself to a new 'wet n dry' epilator... I thought it would be handy to have one I could use in the bathroom, as my ol' faithful one needs to be plugged in.... not a good idea to use that in the bath.
And these newer ones claim to be able to tug out even the shortest of hairs.... which they sure do. But betware...... any reduction in tension of the skin (especially soft fleshy skin in your delicate area) results in severe pain, as your flesh is grabbed at by the rotating tweezers and dragged around until the head finally jams on your skin......OUCH!
I have a very sore lip...... and it's not on my face. |

i used veet for a few years , it works well but best if not left too long and also i put it on then closed my legs it increased the burn factor and bloody hurt , but normally i put it on leave for the required time as i stand legs apart , then it does need a flannel or a bit or rough cloth to help it loose this lasts for a good few weeks , hope it helps , ohhh and now they do veet for men in maculine blue bottle , |

oh i have tried it all. the hair removing cream i left on too long while gabbing in chat room and got chemical burns. the wax strips i cudnt bear to rip off and the few i did left me with marks like love bites on me muff. the professional waxing left me with ingrowing hairs. now i just shave and then use a roll on called PFB vanish its for ingrown hair, waxing/razore bumps, razor burn and its for men and women. i used to rash no matter what i used but with this stuff its great. means i can shave as and when and then a quick application of this on me muff and am a happy lady  |

I posted this query when we joined and the advice was brilliant. Veet was good but found shaving with hair conditioner better in the end. No rash at all but like the advice earlier, you're going to need to pull certain parts a bit straighter to shave. |

I wish I had worded it such a way as to make sure only 'plucking' products were mentioned. I had already heard of veet, and I'm sure it would be better than shaving, but I would really like something pulls the hair out, so it takes even longer to grow back. |

makes the legs feel awful after too when you want to return to shaving.
dont know why i bothered as being blonde i have very few and soft hairs but i swear its made my legs worse! |

As to Veet....
wash before you use it, but leave it a cpl of hours after washing before you apply, as the natural grease in the skin helps protect from chemical burns.
And, for gods sake... DO NOT leave it on too long!!!! I did the first time as an experiment, and couldnt walk without winceing for three days!! Damn good job we didnt have a meet planned!!! |
