My favourite little guinea pig died last night.
She leaves her two daughters who are missing her.
She was only about 3 and I dint know why she died, she seemed healthy.
It's really upset me, she was so affectionate and sweet.

Sorry to hear that.
This is why I won't buy any more guinea pigs, they seem to die easily and not live past more than 2 years for us.
They hide being ill from you until you notice something is wrong and by then it's usually too late to do anything about it. It's natural for them to hide being ill because it makes them vulnerable to predators, there's a word for this but I can't remember what. |

Ours died suddenly last year at three years old as well. Leaving upset little children. It's a way for children to learn about death I feel. I hope you all feel better soon. X |

Not at all. Guinea pigs are farmed ad a food across central and south America .
Very low in cholesterol.....and everyone gets a leg. |
