Off work poorly, in bed with a sore throat and what feels like a head full of sand.

Not sure that the things that cheer me up will work on you but I did have a good snigger at the cat when he fell of the windowsill just now.

It will all be over in about a fortnight. My son has just recovered from the same thing and I'm about 12 days in so I'm looking forward to being cold-free at the weekend

Chin up at least you're at home whilst ill, there's plenty of folk who would swap places with you. Take solace in the fact you'll be back on your feet and fighting fit in no time.

I am at work with staff on holiday and off sick which is giving me head aches.

Pain killers don't work but a visit to the pub on my way home will help.

I rang my boss this morning and said " what's the difference between work and your daughter,,,? " there was a silence then I said " I'm not coming into work"
