you could learn to repair damaged leather suites.
basicly you charge about 35 to 40 squid to spray the damaged leather with a dye.
Obviously there is a bit more to it than that but the initial outlay is quite low !!!
check out leather reapirs on google !!!! |

I don't think you can start many businesses with 500 quid after all that's not even 2 weeks take home pay! i've been working as a glazier for a year now taking every opportunity to get customers to call my mobile rather than my work number and i still don't have enough customers to even think about going self employed.
use the 500 quid to do a course that may lead to better work say a web design course in something in I.T. and keep working for the "man" earning A wage till you can afford to leave

Not with £500.
Go into nothing that requires you to give credit to companies. |

Investment Advice :
with yer first weeks takings buy a small boat, some lobster/oyster/shrimp pots cos there's sure to be an increase in fertilisation of local waters. |

With £500,..well..at xmas time..you could offer familys, for santa to come to there house on xmas day and give the kids a box of chocloates..if you done the research from september and advertised in schools ect..you could charge £15 per house to save mothers dragging themselfs and the kids into the city centres..if the average street has 300 houses and you made a sale of one in three (it would take about 6hrs to complete)..one santa would create a revenus of £1,500 , therefore if you had 10 santas, one working on there own street it would create a revenue of £15,000 for 6 hours work..! |

I'm going to keep watching this one ...
Working for yourself - NO guaranteed holidays or even days off, no get rich quick methods exist, you have to find your own way of paying your bills instead of someone else giving you a pay packet ... it is hard.
I started my business 12 years ago. Wrote a cheque for £50000 as a deposit then came home to discover an overdraft of £3.58!
I am working on Saturday this week - a guest appearance for the staff lol so off out sailing today.
It's worth it in the end ... IF you can do it.
Good luck! |
