Bradford

How does your club stack up?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29527838

The cheapest it would be to see my club, Leeds United, would be £28.20.

The most shocking thing, for me, is a season ticket to see Halifax Town, where I live, costs more than some season tickets to see Man City

They say football is a game of two halves.

Not for me it ain't , I regularly drink eight or nine pints while watching a game in the pub.

Running a Football club is a business at the end of the day. Some fans will pay no matter what the cost and some clubs exploit their weakness.

But then City get hundreds of millions of pounds from TV money and sponsorships, Halifax don't. They have to rely on gate receipts as their main cash flow, unlike the Premiership giants.

Stop going to matches, stop watching it and see how cheap it becomes.

£587 it costs me for my Newcastle United season ticket, and on average about £120 for an away day match, which I try to go to.But im seriously thinking of suing the club under the trade descriptions act as its not exactly football we play

Extortionate especially in the Premiership where most supporters are following clubs who haven't a hope of winning anything.

Cardiff

For every £1 we spend, 71p goes on players wages.

There we have it.

Thats one of the reasons I dont go anymore, cost, total it all up it's a £100 day out for me and my child almost, to watch out team play in a colour we dont want and so on etc

I stopped attending matches four seasons ago. I had a season ticket for thirty five years , ten with my son, but decided enough was enough. After a massive argument with the ticket office which escalated to the chairman I realised they don't give a shot about us.

I've cancelled my sky sports and either watch it down the pub on Arabic tv or get a dodgy channel on my android box. Saves me about four grand a year.
