Anyone seen the footage from last nights football?

These two countries hate each other with a passion.

Someone* was flying one of those drone things over the pitch with a controversial flag on it, this wound up the Albanians, one of them grabbed the flag and ripped it down and thus the Serbian players took great offence - or the other way around, I don't know.

That *Someone was none other than The Presidents Brother who was sat in the stands with the remote control, probably in the Directors box no doubt.

Now adults, lets not bash football and compare it to rugby, this was more to do with political shit and violence in general.

Thankfully the away fans had been banned as they were expecting trouble, it could of been much much worse.

The Referee is from England, he probably jumped for joy when he was told he was doing this game.

Newcastle and Gateshead

this happened for one reason...

kosovo....

Former serbian province, with an ethic albania majority wanting independence.. or to become part of albania...

it happened the other way round... albanian flag flown over ground on a drone... serbian players took offence... serbian player rips down flag... albanian players take offence...

all hell kicks off between players.... some serbian home fans get on the pitch to get into it..... game called off

these to game will now probably end up being played behind closed doors....

uefa normally manage to keep away teams from each other where it is "politically sensitive"... spain and gibraltar is one... armenia and azabijan is another....

russia/georgia and serbia/croatia were on that list but they decided they could now play those games as long as there were no away fans present... same as this game

Apparently the Serbs refused to fly the Albanian flag in the stadium - i would have thought it to be mandatory in an internatiol match, - I do believe this was part of the reason for the drone (or remote controlled chopper, more like) carrying the Albanian flag.

They hate each other ssssoooooooo damn much!!

Poor ref.

Dont think you can say that Uefa keep Spain and Gibraltar apart- this is the first competition Gib has EVER played in

Spain had always blocked Gibraltar's admission into UEFA going to the extent of saying it they were admitted the national team and the club teams would pull out of Uefa Competitions...

they finally agreed to allowing Gibraltar to join Uefa on the Condition that their clubs and countries could not play each other in any competitions....

I had a feeling it was the other way around

I hope UEFA got nuts at any wrong do'ers wether thats the presidents brother, the guy who said 'your not putting their flag up' or anybody on the pitch who shouldn't be, or any players who threw kicks and punches.

in Lancashire

once again the games governing body seem to have a total lack of seeing the inevitable consequences of this type of fixture and not adequately preventing it..

and the 'sanction' as usual will be equally insipid as with some teams/countries where they are consistently racist and nothing is done to prevent it reoccurring.

Hey ho

When Wales beat the mighty Andorra recently a Welsh fan ran on the pitch and we've been waiting to see the punishment on that.

They are doing Andorra for something aswell.

They better be consistant and proportionate

saw about 10 seconds of footage lastnight during the portugal denmark match

crazy shit. wouldve had a full on pitch invasion from both sides if the away fans had been there

that wouldve been messy

I just wish i could afford one of those drones. My mind is boggling with thoughts of what fun i would have gate-crashing live events a la The Revolution Will Be Telivised stylee!

I bet a lot of celebrities wished those drones were only affordable to them.

Its wrong how they can be used to take pics and videos etc.

Wills and Kate for eg, dosent matter how high you build your walls, these things will still get up and over.
