I had a Viva too. 2-door variety. I was out in it one day and it started raining so I put my wipers on - they went *Swish!* *Swish!* then flew off the car! I pulled over and asked my mate to retrieve them and when he opened his door it fell off! Needless to say, I didn't have it much longer after that. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
First car - a 17 year old white Mini Clubman (wood panels down the side). Stolen within a month, never recovered.
Worst car - none, I don't buy bad cars. Worst car I've driven is the current 1.6 Astra...it's like driving curtains.
Best car - probably also none, but my favourite was a Ford Cougar - decent size, decent spec, unusual, and fairly powerful in an understated way. |

First car was a Mini.. loved it and would own one again.
then a Vauxhall Magnum 2 litre, excellent.
but My favourite car is my 30 year old opel manta, even been on telly with her.
But the car I want to own an evo 6, the beast in my eyes. |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
First car - Austin A35 van with an MGB engine in it!
Can`t say I`ve had a bad one because I`ve had a lifetime of buying "rubbish" which needed constant fettling because of how old it was and how much it was thrashed!
My best cars have all been Land Rovers, from my good `ole Series 2a which after getting a little "tired" after an estimated 300,000 miles on the original engine to having a series of Rover V8s shoehorned in, my `82 ex-MOD Range Rover, both of which are in retirement at the side of the garage. Suppose the best, best is my current `94 Discovery which hardly needs a spanner put on it apart from when I put mucky fuel in it |

"lol
at least back then you could open the bonnet and with a screwdriver, spanner and roll of tape you could keep the dam thing running, now you need a degree in diagnostics "
Best thing to do is to persuade son to be a mechanic then like i did with mine |

First car : 1979 MKII Escort, in metalic gold.
Worst car : MKVI Escort cabriolet. Absolute piece of shit that leaked like a sieve. Had to go when I got done from a set of lights by an old guy in an automatic Peugot 205
Best car : Hmmm, either a Renault Clio 16V, a Celica GT4 or my current MR2 tubby. |
