Everyone wants renewable energy, but no one wants a wind farm next to them.
Everyone wants a decent mobile phone signal, but not a mast near them
Everyone wants a brothel, but not in their neighbourhood.
No one wants a supermarket in their village, but they will use it.

The title post was "everyone wants a brothel". Nothing wrong with me not wanting a brothel. I also don't want a drum n bass nightclub next to my house. |

I am a NIMBY and happy to admit it.
I signed a petition to keep McDonalds of our high street and I campaigned to keep Tesco out as well. But I will happily travel to another town to visit these establishments. |

We have all those above except for the wind farm. I can only see 2 turbines from my window and I quite like watching them rotate. They would look nicer if they were rainbow coloured like children's little plastic ones |
