"First rule of Philosophy Club, no one talks about Philosophy Club"
Hmmm, we shouldn't be talking about the club but about the issues. Unless the issue is whether there is such a thing as philosophy and a club?

I thought you'd blocked me. I'm blocked by a fair number But, if we're blocked then we shouldn't be talking to each other. It's one of the conundrums of the forum.

If a Gimp walks into a radioactive box with Shrodingers cat, and nobody sees them, are they dead or alive?
Also, can you get the clap with one hand?
...and if an woman cums in the woods and there is no-one there to hear it, does she make a sound? |

How hard did he walk into the box? There could be confusion between concussion and death. |

I'm not religious by I am ideological, and that ideology doesn't involve hurting others willy nilly - I doubt I'm the only person in the world who feels the same way. |

They supposedly lack the understanding of the difference between right and wrong, or good and evil. So there is a long debate about whether psychopaths should be treated as criminals or patients.
But great books on the notion of right and wrong are "And thus spake Zarathustra" and "Beyond good and Evil", by Nietzsche... god is dead and all that. |

What I am driving at is whether conscience is maleable or innate. Do we all have the same conscience?

Nature vs nurture is a long standing debate. Personally I think it is both and some are more maleable than others. |

Phylosophy is one of those subjects people spend time repeating quotes they dont truly believe, live by or understand. In my opinion, Stoicism, is the only remaining theory that can be read and practiced to this day. -Mr. |

No one knows/ we haven't discovered it yet. It just serves to highlight how we are still at the dawn of our understanding. 20 years ago it was incredibly difficult to speak to someone in a different country, impossible to pass information within less than days.
