Everyone make haste to their local supermarket....

---------------------------------------

And there you were thinking this was just a regular Monday.

But, little did we know, Pot Noodle was about to slap this bombshell on us. The favourite foodstuff of students everywhere – and Sandra from Gogglebox – is now trialling a sweet variant: the Choc Noodle.

It includes ‘delicious’ noodles in a creamy chocolate sauce, topped with rich, bite-sized chunks of all-butter fudge, smooth milk chocolate chips and maple-covered pecan nuts, for added crunch.

Yep, we were dubious too until they mentioned the pecan nuts.

The snack, which is delivered hot to your mouth within four minutes, was invented with the help of chocolatier Paul A. Young, who said of his wicked creation: ‘The blend of all-butter fudge, milk chocolate chips and maple-covered pecan nuts works perfectly with this mix. The salty pecans offset the sweet chocolate, and butter fudge is wonderfully indulgent and gives the dessert an added depth of flavour.’

The guys at Pot Noodle reckon one of these bad boys, alongside a savoury P’Noodle, could make the perfect two-course meal. Hmmm.

So, will hot chocolatey noodles turn out to be the ultimate quickie comfort food? There’s only one way to find out…
