My Monday got off to a quite literally cracking start! I managed to trip over my daughter's foot, thought it hurt ! Just got back from the hospital and my toe is flaming broken. So for today I'm at home with it elevated and it's strapped together as have to just wait for it to heal.
First time I've ever broken anything, so have you ever broken any bones? |

A friend of mine broke her toe a couple of days ago.
Her problem is she's getting married soon and is going to have a real issue finding suitable wedding shoes.
She's freaking out at the moment. |

I'm still recovering from a broken bone in mu wrist. Walked into a door at work last month which was daft of me.
I had a temporary cast on for a week then a fibreglass cast on for 3 weeks. Now I have a wriststrap on which I can take off and put back on just so I can exercise my hand. Still sore as hell though. |

In a car crash I broke my skull and pelvis.
Have broken my arm 3 times,1 wrist,nose 4 times,all sport related.
Left leg, right foot, toes fingers and ribs all due to everyday gormlessness.
I've had more stitches than the bayeux tapestry.
I'm like a pound land version of Steve Austin |

the bones in my hand - ran through the office door as a junior dashing to catch the postie - (oh that sounds wrong) - left my hand in the handle and wrapped it the wrong way around the door - imagine a purple yellow black blown up marigold - and yes i cried |

I've had lots of muscle, joint and tissue injuries, including a couple of sprained ankles that bruised and swelled right up to my knee and took a year to heal properly but (touch wood) I've not broken a bone.
I've only ever needed stitches following surgery.
I've been fairly lucky in that regard. |

No, just got to keep it strapped to the next toe and should heal within 6 weeks.
Sounds like I've got off lightly though reading all of the posts. |

Awww I know that's rotten. I have a friend who is very poorly in hospital so a broken toe is nothing.
Maybe she could get something specially made that looks wedding like ? |

I've broke my little toe , my thumb, my nose twice and fractured my skull twice.
My little toe was by far the most painful and the most difficult to heal. |

Broken more than half the bones in my body at one time or another fingers, hand wrists elbows collar bone both sides, skull neck ribs pelvis thigh knee shin foot and toes. Many from horse training and racing accidents a few from motorcycle racing, most embarrassing was from tripping over on my way to the plane for skydiving!
Took me ages to learn I am not indestructible.
but broken toes are so damned annoying you have my sympathy just hope you don't have any fancy shoe occasions coming up |

When I broke my toes (3 at once same foot) I found trainers were best. Not at all happy as I'm very much a heels girlie.
Hope it mends soon.
I've broken loads of bones (way too many) jaw was the sorest, followed by nose (my sister smashed me in the face with a barbie doll) |
