Does it remind you of bath night, shoes polished and trying to stay up as long as possible?

Theme tune to antiques roadshow brought it all back lol

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'd just be finishing the ironing and getting ready to do my nails for the week.

Nothing much has changed, except that now I'm ignoring the ironing as I can't be bothered today.

Yes sunday night, bath night, lol, after getting muddy playing sunday league football. Supergran on the telly, followed by a film selected from channels 1 to 4 back in the 80's, what choice we had back then.

My Grandad used to polish my school shoes on a Sunday so you could see your reflection in them. And yes always had a bath and had our nails cut.

The challenge was to stay up to for the start of tales of the unexpected. Hmm was it bruno brookes or dare I say peter powell on the top 40?

If we're going for nostalgic sunday tv.... songs of praise, highway, bullseye, last of the summer wine, all creatures great and small, the sweeny, tales of the unexpected before my dad laid enforced the curfew.

Lovejoy, egg sandwiches, mums homemade lemon drizzle, nan snoring in the chair.

Sundays are never the same.
