Who shot JFK?

Before you say Lee Harvey Oswald, let me tell you this. He took the first 2 shots. The first one hit the pavement and recocheted and hit JFK on the back of the head. The second bullet therefore have caused all the non–fatal wounds to Kennedy and Connally by passing through Kennedy’s torso from back to front, passing through Connally’s torso from back to front, passing through Connally’s wrist, and finally entering Connally’s thigh.

So who took the fatal shot?

You're thoughts please.

"Except i do believe this has been disproved.Unless of course that's part of the conspiracy. "

The Warren commission disproved it by agreeing there were no rifles in the secret service car even though there was photographic evidence.

As for the magic bullet theory it was explained in a very plausible way and in a way that showed it wasn't so magic.

The guy has been dead 50 years

It's about time we allowed him to rest in peace.

The only facts we will ever know about his assassination is that there are several academics who've made a fkin fortune yapping on about the who's, the whys and the wherefores

It would be more plausible if they could decide on the type of ammunition the AR15 was loaded with. The show stated that it was loaded with frangible hollowpoints, there's no such thing. Frangible ammunition is made of compressed copper and polymer and essentially turns to dust on impact, it's used as a close range practice ammunition to stop ricochets.

Hollowpoints are as the name suggests and are used for maximum stopping power as the bullet expands inside the target to maximise cavitation.

Frangible rounds would have left very little evidence, mostly copper dust. A hollow point would have stayed mostly intact but would have mushroomed, also had it been the .223 fired from the AR there's a good chance it would have passed straight through at that range and not stayed in JFK's head.

It was one of the more plausible theories though but I still don't think it's exactly what happened.

The C.I.A. paid the Mafia to do it, Lee Harvey Oswald was set up, Jack Ruby had Mafia connections, finished the job, no trail, dead men dont talk.

Reason? Kennedy was seen as being too soft.

Read the book behind JFK the movie, inside job by CIA due to his anti Cuba stance. Final shot was from the grassy knoll by hired assassins.

He was definitely murdered and no one deserves that. but a history changing event? Definitely as it set in stone the myth that a leader is irreplaceable. The guy could have had a heart attack or accident that night definitely life goes on. No one is irreplaceable and the sooner we dispel the myth the better.

On its 30th anniversary of her assassination attempt, its one thing I admire mrs thatcher for. She went on with her job and announced dead or alive, life goes on. Even in old age she shrugged excessive security. its 2 fingers to terrorism.

30 years ago? Damn I feel old!

A good one i heard. It was LBJ, He was vice President, but was being investigated by two seperate enquires as to how he managed to have so much money despite spending most his working life in politics.

I shall leave the rest for you to figure out.

At the end of World War 3, full of remorse over launching the nukes rather than talking through the Cuban missile crisis JFK used the time travel device invented during the war, to travel back and shoot himself preventing the war and the invention of time travel

LHO rifle or his level of skill were not up to the task.

They needed someone with 3 initials to maintain that all successful Presidential assassinations were done by men with 3 names!

1963

John Fitzgerald Kennedy(35th President),

Lee Harvey Oswald.

1901

William McKinley(25th President),

Leon Frank Czolgosz.

1881

James Abram Garfield(20th President),

Charles J. Guiteau.

1865

Abraham Lincoln(the 16t President),

John Wilkes Booth.

just another theory and as plausible as the rest! CIA+Mafia+Cuban exiles+Clans+KGB+FBI have we left anyone out?

West Wales and Cardiff

I was a real assassination/ conspiracy theory buff for years. Read loads of books, watched the documentaries (including the one which said it was a bunch of French hired assassins - very popular theory 20 years ago). I'm still active on a Kennedy assassination forum too. Believes a number of the theories at the time.

Now convinced it was Oswald who fired all the shots. The only question I think, is whether he was actively encouraged/ supported to do it.

Big change came when I saw the last shot in slow motion - there's a huge projectile of tissue etc heading skywards from the front of the head. The exit wound has to be at the front i.e. he was shot from behind.

In fairness to conspiracy theorists though, there is one thing that still feels a bit fishy to me - umbrella man. Never been convinced by the explanation for why a guy had an open umbrella on a sunny day right by where he was shot.

Incidentally - go to YouTube and look up the clips that say the driver of the limousine shot him. Looks amazing at first until you realise what's actually happened.

That show the other night made a huge fuss over the way JFK's head exploded and stated that it could only have happened with the type of ammunition they suggested. They even went as far as to test their theory on a water melon. They obviously know nothing about wound cavitation and the difference between the human skull/brain and a water melon.

Personally I think it was Oswald and it was down to sheer luck rather than skill.
