After being unceremoniously dumped off my BMW R1200GS by a car last year, I downsized to a Honda NC750X. After years of bigger bikes, I love it, probably the best bike I've ever owned.

Good to hear you've found something you're happy with. And sorry about the 1200. I love mine, I get a bit of vibration around 6000rpm but aside from that it rides beautifully. And for a sport/tourer it's pretty quick |

Thanks but rather that died than me, can't replace me! I actually preferred the R1150GS and wish I'd never changed it but for the little riding I do now, and mostly through heavy traffic, the Honda is great. |

"A 96 RF900R, bit bulky but it does me. Still miss the R6 though."
My last bike was a 92 fzr600. Old and tatty but still reliable and pretty quick for a bike of that age. |

A work in progress |

I admire you guys that like to build your own bikes. I just don't have the time to do it. |

4 bikes in the garage at the moment, L also rides so two of them are hers. There was a bikers meet being set up for July or August know that two have happened but both carefully arranged when we were out of the country , search the threads there are posts out there about it, maybe it's on again next summer? |

Alas, I only have distant, fond memories of my bikes (89 Zxr 400 & 97 Bandit6).
Maybe one day I'll straddle a crotch rocket again but, for now its family first.
Get a knee down for me guys & stay safe! |

I have my license but can't afford a bike
I make a great pillion "
Me too! My last bike was a VN750 but now I have kids and live in the middle of nowhere so have to have a car. Saving my pennies for another bike.

Currently riding a BMW K75. Old, ugly, noisy, expensive. The bike is not much better!
Looking to rat it up properly over the winter and get a VN900 for posing on. |
