As folks have said revenge is a waste of time, you're wasting your own time and energy on people who aren't worth it. It's easier said than done but in my experience the best thing you can do is just walk away from whatever it is. |

I don't do vengeance. It means someone's got the better of me by making me think about them. I have on occasion enjoyed a moment of schadenfreude however due to circumstances entirely free of my own involvement. |

Silence! Thats the key.... People who expect some kind of revenge for any nasty deeds are really unerved and on edge , when silence is all they get! Karma can bite their arse when time is right too .... Aint got time for being bitter n twisted .... Their bad deeds their drama |

"Better to move on and put it behind you."
Not always possible to do this. In my case, I plan, one day, to be able to dance on the grave of the person who did me wrong over 30 yrs ago, then and only then will I be able to move on from it and yes, it really was THAT serious) |

"Does karma exist? How come J. Savile died a free and wealthy man?"
Probably have to see what he comes back as to be sure!
How people treat you is their karma, how you react is all yours
Revenge is in the dog |

I don't agree with revenge - I think it's quite childish to be honest, I just prefer to move on and wash them out my life. I did revenge with my x hubby but I've grown up since then |

Ignoring the fact that it's not exactly revenge, but regradless of what they did - what will that achieve? Somethings are unforgivable, but a life full of hatred is not a healthy way to live.

Sums it up perfectly. I might have a little smile to myself when some people land on their arses but I'd never actively seek to put them there |

I can wait years
I have been know to carry on like nothing happened and buy my time to act. I will till the time is right and the give it right back to them and remind them if what they did.
I know most say no revenge but I do like the feeling of it and I know it makes me a BAD person but I like it served ice cold |

I don't think it's childish, so someone can really hurt us and we just smile and go "oh well"
I don't think so and I'm def not childish. |

I did exact revenge on my husband once. He had a piss in the toilet right behind my head, making me sit up. So,I invited him to sit in front of me in my bath. He got himself comfy and I wee'd on him then jumped out laughing at him |

Free? Physically yes. But imagine the thoughts, fears, dark complexities, constantly wary of being found out (consciously or otherwise).. karma.

Sometimes karma is a smokescreen, an illusion...
Im not sure I either believe it, or understand it.

Karma is a lie, at least in the form that most people understand it. Karma isn't about your negative (or positive) actions returning upon you at done future point - that's just life because good things and bad things happen.
Karma is a state of mind, an intent of action. Bad karma (intent) less to bad action; positive to good action and so forth. Karma and your karmic balance comes from within - through your own mindfulness. |

"Show me some tangible evidence that karma is real and exists then I'll rip up my revenge list "
Cause and effect!
You cause an event to happen and there will be an effect (consequence)
Eg instant karma
You call someone a prick, most likely you'll end up with a fat lip.
Simples |

No. It wouldn't be my intention to do so!!!
Read professor xxx post. The concept of karma is its 'your karma'. No one else's. It doesn't jump on to other people because they do bad things to you. Cause and effect in relation to your intentions! conscious or unconscious. |

Those that claim that revenge isnt worth it, or you should turn the other cheek, cant care about people much.
It's been 20 years since I found out what happened, and now its payback.
I have waited, because I had to, but now I dont have to wait any more..... and the punishment will fit the crime.
I made a promise, and that promise will be honoured, he sowed the wind.... now he will reap the whirlwind. |

Karma does exist. I have seen her in action and it is truly amazing. It will happen when you least expect it.
I also believe what goes around goes around.
I don't do revenge as a rule I just like to think I'm giving karma a helping hand.

I have a short attention span so the whole revenge thing is lost on me, I get bored and theres always other more important stuff going on. This way I tend to find myself on the moral high ground a lot of the time which in turn gives me a nice warm smug feeling!! |
