Just watched a trailer of a film called Northern Soul. Looks good. Shame i was only a small kid growing up in that era of the Wigan Casino scene. How many of you guys went there to the all nighters? |

Bought "Sexy Lady" by The Mylestones on Ebay couple of months ago.
Cost me a tenner.
Was deleted back in the 70's and was selling for £150 - £200
One problem though, haven't got a record player to play it on  |

Fantastic, I've a few northern soul compilations and they always come out at parties. The Snake by Al Wilson is a particular favourite. |

Butlin's have Northern Soul weekends at their resorts. They are adult only weekends and are great fun |

I like Northern soul. Been a couple of good Northern Soul club nights, up here in Leeds. Brighton beach and Hifi club. Always had good atmospheres in them! |

Never went to the Casino Club, but during the Fire Strike in late '77 I was based in the old Wigan TA drill-hall next door and one shout we had was, literally, round the corner to the club where a smouldering fag end in a waste paper bin had triggered the fire alarm. |
