Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"The carnival is over
The Seekers...
Shadows Fall
The Proclaimers
Aria
Aker Bilk
Christ it will be a long service "
It's OK, it's not compulsory for YOU to attend.
My full list has Jerusalem as I love this country, the words and the tune. Then Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence, my favourite hymn. I'd like to be put yo the flames with the Allegri Miserere and maybe have Thank You for Being a Friend to say I am grateful to those who turned up to the funeral.

For my husband we had
Caruso- Andrea Bocelli
Wild is the wind- Bowie
Next to me - Emilie Sande
All in the words of the songs really, although I think most people just thought it was a strange choice of music

I've wanted "Lifetime" by Maxwell as mine, ever since it came out in 2001.
Friend of mine had "Unwell" by Matchbox 20 as his and he passed away after a lengthy cancer battle. His body may have failed him but his sense of humour did not. |

"Bringing me in, Sade - by your side
a beautiful song.
and the video is my favourite of all time. The colours are beautiful "
Same here........my family get all teary when they hear it now, and I'm still here!!
As for Steal my Sunshine, I danced around with my babies to this, giggling in my arms, and they remember too....so I want them to smile at the memory when I'm gone |

Thriller by Michael Jackson, complete with actors and a flashmob to be zombies and scare the shit out of the guests...
...plus a look-a-like of me to be the barman. |

"Good riddance ( time of your life ) green day
This is also gonna be mine...love it"
This was played at my nephew's funeral. He had been showing his dad the chords just before he died. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
We played 'May it be' by Enya at my dad's funeral, as his coffin was brought in. The lyrics are awesome.
As the curtains closed, we chose 'Time to say goodbye' by Andrew Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. |
