Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
There was a man in my life who is both well groomed and vain.
He was great to go shopping with as he was so encouraging because he wanted me to look good next to him. Plus he would buy things for himself to complement my outfit.

Lol I tend to go for the rough and ready...a bit of stubble and shirt and jeans but I used to go out with a bloke who could throw on anything and still look good....he was the least vain man I knew |

Not vain and not particularly well groomed either.
My toiletries consist of shower gel , a razor , toothpaste and deodorant.
Some of my mates toilet bags are bigger than my suitcase. |

"Once a teddy boy all ways a teddy boy very well groomed but then i would not let him out if he looked a mess lol"
You're 20yrs too young to be a Ted. My Dad was a Ted
Mind you I dressed as a mod but preferred rocker music and rode a Bonny
Guess we were both out of sync |

I've got less and less bothered the older I get. I still like nice clothes and make an effort for nights out. Just more comfortable with who I am.
Vanity is quite an unattractive quality IMHO. Styles something you can't buy off the peg!! |

My OH is smart and well groomed but he is not vain or fashion conscious as such.
He obviously showers every day, uses shower gel, shaving items, deodorant and aftershave, but he would not use moisturiser. He would never have eyebrows shaped or have a spray tan, manicure, pedicure or anything like that. He doesnt wear jewellery other than a watch, he buys good quality clothes and shoes to last rather than
fashion items. |

"Its a good thing men look after themselves to be honest,a lot do not X
"
Just walking down the high street it amazes me how few people bother looking after themselves. Either that I live in an area where everyone is just butt ugly. |

"I like men who take pride in their appearance doesn't always mean they are vain. "
I just don't think that pride in your appearance necessarily has to equate to being well groomed.
Well groomed, to me, suggests use of grooming products, pinched and preened and wearing clothes designed to impress or make a statement / sell an image rather than being functional everyday wear.
Being clean and wearing clean clothes that are comfy and suit your build is, imho, way more important and will shine thru |

"C'mon Miss Marple, guess !
I think the same applies to both of us tho.
Clean and presentable (just), but not well groomed or vain "
Actually, I did think it can apply to you both. That's a good thing I think. Aww. |

My hubby just showers and wears deo. Aftershave when he goes out. He doesn't even brush his longish hair. He hates creams and things. He's never posing in front of a mirror. But he looks great. Very young for his age. |
