I have said thank you before in response to a compliment, usually from someone too far away. Its just me being polite, but then they carry on talking, when in all probability, due to the distance we will never meet. |

I. think it all depends how the compliment is worded. We get messages where it is just a compliment but you can tell that it's just another way to try and get talking rather than just an actual compliment with no hidden agendas.
We have had both and the only ones we ever reply to is the ones that come across as genuine |

because it sometimes takes more than just a one line compliment to get noticed on here.
I know it's hard to come up with ideas for messaging so I'm not knocking your approach. For me tho unless I've already engaged in a conversation with someone, random compliments are just that ~ random and could be for anyone. |

I have had some lovely compliments tonight from friends old and new, all given in the right spirit and during lovely chats.
You do become hardened to the crap that is spouted by some on sites like this, but we shouldn't become too hardened and miss this lovely part of the flirting process, Keep in mind i am a man and i do have an ego that needs pandering a little from time to time! And fuck it i AM lovely!! |

I always thank people if they compliment me then leave it at that if not interested. I've sent compliments to people I don't necessarily want to meet but its nice to be nice. Some may have a hidden agenda, others don't but I always say thanks.
