Ginger beer

I'm starting my own ginger beer brew this weekend.

One with chilli in it, one without...both alcoholic.

After telling a few people this earlier they were surprised that it has to brewed as they thought it was just 'pop'.(That's ginger ale)

They then told me it must be a dying art which lead me to wonder,

Are there any regular things you do that could be deemed as a dying thing?
