An item on the anglia news was covering the cost saving of peeing in the shower as opposed to going to the loo. Apparently it can save up to 12 litres of water per person per day which would save £42 million per year in the region. Dunno if I like that idea....what about anyone else?? |

They won't fix the leaks, that'd cost the shareholders some money and we know the French don't like parting with their euros lol. Sharing a shower might save more water than peeing in it.  |

Pee is sterile when it comes out so I don't see a problem with peeing in the shower, if you had a urine infection then it might not be a good idea.
If we did save water companies money then I'd like to see that reflected in our bills, otherwise they can fuck off. |

Im wondering if the next thing they want us to do is dig a hole and shit in the woods so they can do away with toilets all together and save even more water |

Most properties could easily be fitted with rain water recovery to flush toilets but unless you are on a water meter you will never save any money doing it, and wouldn't get anything off from the water companies ... perhaps better we pop round to the local office and pee on them. |

My mum was on a meter and flushed as little as possible to save water and money, or so she thought.
Ended up with a blocked drain so had to get dyno rod or whoever out to clear it, which meant using a lot of water to unblock it and a hefty bill at the end
The guy said this happens a lot with people who live on their own and really is false economy |

Thing is, I always need to pee when I wake up in the morning so...I pee. The shower comes after. In the evening I shower when I get home from work and so far it's never coincided with the urge to pee. But even if it did I think that for the sake of 5 mins I can probably wait |

Imagine living in a country where you get a water bill lol. Fortunately for us scots it's included in our council tax payment. I did regularly pee in the shower, I would only do it in my own shower though. Good for your feet, mine are as tough as old boots! |

A short flush uses about 4 litres of water, now I like to be clean, but to save 12 litres peer day = 3 showers a day.... Think someone is making up numbers |

I used to visit a guy who lived at a Forces camp/barracks. They would all clearly pee in the showers as every time I used them I had to hold my breath! Euch!!!   |

Peeing in the shower is small fry compared to some on here. They will pee on you, in your mouth and in your fanny. I think peeing in the shower is quite tame. |

I always pee in the shower, it just washes down the plug hole and the quantity compared to the shower water is minuscule.
Mind, I am a watersports fan as well so I also enjoy it which is a bonus |

Haha.. This reminded me of something from my childhood.
I was doing the loo at my uncles house and my younger cousin was absolutely bursting for the loo as well. Obviously I was in the middle of my business, so told him to just go into the shower and do it.
Hahaha! He left a big massive turd right there.
i just mine of his dad going ape! Still laugh my hearoff wwhenever I think about it. |
