"Nope
Does this mean you were body confident before or it just hasn't helped you gain any?"
Just that I haven't gained in body confidence....it hasn't suffered either I really don't think its had any effect. |

"Improved your confidence in your own body? "
Body confidence....No
To be honest swinging probably makes me more aware of the area that I don't like...
However it has given me confidence with speaking and approaching different people/virtual strangers. I'm not so nervous of trying new things.... |

This.
I'd much prefer a different body but tbh I'm too lazy to do much about it. I'd rather be enjoying life than sweating it out in the gym or fussing over a healthy eating/drinking lifestyle.
Life's too bloody short!!

I don't think it's about the effects on people's confidence but the duration of the effects.
It's a temporary fix. We take the compliments and attention because it feels great to be desired but when people's comments are indirectly negative, we question why and it drags us back to square one and our original insecurities.
The real test is if we can take that confidence gained and use it in our everyday lives. Real confidence is happiness and belief in one's self.;-) |

about the same here, to be honest swinging makes me more self conscious as I know I don't have a good body but having sex means others have to see it and I'd sooner other people not see me naked but I love sex to much so I bite the bullet and pretend I'm a size 8 on my meets
but I am much better at talking to people since I started this |

No swinging has nothing to do with my confidence about my body. At 48 I have a body many younger men would be proud of, it's for my own good health and self esteem. |

I am definitely more body confident since I started swinging but me starting swinging happened to coincide with me starting to lose weight (it wasn't an intentional concurrence), which I think is the main reason. |

I have to agree with the weight thing. I feel much more confident when I'm not lugging around an extra 3 stone!!! |

no because if you have met men who weren't very attractive and they didn't want to see you again it can make you feel worst about yourself. any man can find you attractive when hes not had sex for a while. |

I appreciate its a ladies choice etc etc. Still a kick in the knackers though |

This is very true and has been one of the positive effects of swinging. |

When I used to be bigger, I had no problem getting my kit off and wandering around places naked. Obviously appropriate places, not Tesco!
Now I'm down 3 sizes I feel really self conscious about my body. Really odd. |

Better as a consequence of Fab? No
Better as a consequence of Chams? OMG YES.
As a bigger lady, I was terrified that people would look at me strangely and wonder why on earth someone my size would want to be putting myself on display in the club, but I soon discovered that it's the larger ladies who seem to get more attention and have all the fun in there.
Before joining Chams, I would never have dreamt of using a communal changing area in a clothes shop or swimming pool but these days I just get on with it, it's amazing just how much quicker you can try on that strappy dress (without your bra) if you just strip it all off, get the dress on, decide it's great, take the dress back off and get your own clothes back on, than if you mess about trying to keep yourself covered whilst doing it.
Roll on a nice warm sunny weekend next summer and the ability to find a good nudist beach in the UK .. I'll be heading that way |

Not so much from fab but from swinging generally yes. was always self conscious about my general size but after several positive comments I've learned to lose my hang ups and just enjoy what I was given. Everyone has body concerns and hang ups but the majority of people you meet will see the beauty in you not the beast you think you see |

Yes, I think it has. Going to clubs and seeing lots of wobbly bits on others has made me realise I'm actually pretty trim really. "
Yes there is always someone who looks worst than you. |
