Over the last week noticed one particular single M (bless his cottons)  in our local updates
Posting about his bad luck. 
Just waiting for a I'm leaving etc etc update 
Made me think. To us it seems desperate and beggy. I'm not going to put what she's typed or his handle because that's not nice.
Other peoples thoughts on those types of updates?
(And before any says don't like it don't look, it doesn't Actualy bother us)  |

I don't like seeing that either, quite pathetic some of them. But kinda understand it in a way, the vast majority of single guys here are pretty much just paying to be ignored. You go for a certain amount of time without a reply, sometimes weeks or longer, and you lose your optimism and start looking for other ways to get noticed, unfortunately some opt for the sympathy vote, not a good look. |

You get daily entertainment!! 
From the "thanks for last night babe. Amazing!" (From long term unverified profiles), to dozens of offers of skype/kik/whatsapp, to 'cock/tits out in xxxxx - anyone want a look?', to the usual moans of 'does anyone actually meet/been stood up again/xxxxxxx profile is a fake/deleting profile in 7 days' etc.
Sometimes tempted to message them yes/no one word responses to their updates just so their effort gets them a result in the form of an inbox message!
Resisted so far - but sometimes it's bloody hard!!

As a single guy, the local updates (women and couples due to my filters) are not too bad, but like above, the ones with "thanks for last night…." etc, tell them, not the whole of fab, what are you trying to achieve? - are usually my thoughts.

I have to admit to being witheringly sarcastic last night in my status after seeing an unverified, pictureless, 10 word profile post a status thanking the 2 hot women for a great time.
Needless to say his status didn't last long. |

Can't stand ranty, negative or rude status updates, have blocked people in the past because of it. We have a couple of regular negative posters on our local update feed, being rude about other members, heads up arses, waste of skin, etc etc. Just makes us think they are not the type of person we'd like to meet. |
