Is it just me, or do there seem to be an awful lot of men on here who work for themselves?

Most of the guys I'm friends with seem to.

I get contacted by a fair few who say they work for themselves. As I'm self employed I don't really think about it.

A lot say they do so as to try and instigate a daytime meet and for what reason they wish to do that I couldn't possibly guess. Or maybe I could but that's another thread.

I've done part time stuff on my own but never tried fully self employed, no need particularly.

I own my own business and in the last 2 years I've seen the number of people going it alone rocket.

Redundancy payments during the bad times have funded many of the construction industry trades guys to set up, but also the need for a zero hour thing has forced many to go self employed so they can skip between contractors.

Brighton - even Hove!

I have no skills that could be used for self employment. I'm a real office middle man

I mostly work November to February summertime is far to valuable to be spent working. Only way to do that is to work for myself.
