I'm not so sure it is just a man on man thing . I would be very shocked if a woman did it but i have seen a number of guys profiles with numbers on them . And i don't blame you for not ever calling them . Saying that , would you like mine ? Lol . |

If a woman put a number on her profile wouldn't you automatically assume it was a scam or a fake? |

I would think it could be both the above and could be for real . I might even call it if i was that interested. What's the worst that could happen . It can't be as bad as putting your own number on your profile a ? |

ive met a guy who often displays his phone number on his status update ...he was a great guy to meet and we plan to meet again ....i tend not to worry too much what others choose to do with their profiles |

Can't think why anyone would be happy with the possibility that their phone could ring at any time of day or night, maybe from some less than sober individual 
I have seen a few on ladies' profiles as well, so it's not just us men that are desperate  |

. Have used it on another site and never had any issues . Not bothered about nuisance callers , they are wasting their time , not mine . If someone wants an instant meet , handled correctly it can be very usefull. I have done meets at 3 am and they were good fun. Only a few nuisance callers. I never terminate the call, just let them talk to themselves

There is a woman local to me who keeps coming back with new profiles and always has a number on it, anyone who ever calls it must be off their heads, she/he is either false or mad |
