A public apology

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Here is a statement from Marmite Towers to apologise on behalf of Mr Marmite:

"To the fine upstanding citizens of Fab. In the early days of Mr Marmite's journey of discovery, he was very much like a kid in a sweet shop / bull in a china shop.

The lovely people who glanced at my profile, maybe gave a cheeky wink, and other welcoming gestures were often met with enthusiasm bordering on the distasteful. Unfortunately, Master Marmite was in the driving seat.

Many will, and I completely understand why, will have seen this as pushy. It was.

With time, experience, good friends on here, and a cold metal spoon applied to Master Marmite, I feel that I can now hold my head high.

I have learnt that I am not everyone's cup of bovril, and that is how it goes.

By being who I am, and not stressing about the next meet, conversing with people and getting involved with the forums, my fab experience is so much the better.

For those offended by the old Northern Exile or Tommy Atkins, rest assured I respect your decision to block. I do not seek to change that.

You have all taught me something about swinging, about who I was and who I am now.

So please accept my humble apologies."

Mr Marmite will answer any questions within forum rules.

Released by the office of Mr Marmite.

"What does Master Marmite have to say about the spoon treatment?"

He wasn't happy but it got him out of the driving seat

"What does Master Marmite have to say about the spoon treatment?"

Master Marmite rather enjoyed it and is encouraging a new journey of discovery which entails the introduction of some esoteric cutlery into further play

I believe Mr Marmite is eagerly awaiting delivery of a full seafood set including claw crackers, lobster forks and picks.

Mr Marmite should let me crack on with what I do best. If he doesn't let me loose I will embarrass him at his next meet

Anyway I can forgive but I can never forget what you did. It was disgraceful. I'm quite liberal minded but you went too far, it was horrendous!

Good on ya Marmite.

I blew my reputation on here with a couple of ill-considered posts and alienated friends. I hope your apology is heard.

The thing with mr marmite is, you either love him, or hate him

After some research I can establish the following:

Mr Marmite sometimes refers to himself as Mr Marmite just to mix things up a bit. It also depends on the mix of medication he is under.

Master Marmite was the brains of the operation, but now is only involved in the play antics. Decision making is not his forte.

Master Marmite is sulking but fears all utensils.

Marmite Towers is a fictional place, as putting my real address would only reveal my true identity as Bananaman.

Wtf? My post, my choice what I put!

The apology still stands.

I'm still a prat, but a better trained one...

My Public Relations team released the statement on my behalf. I'm Mr Marmite, Master Marmite is my todger, Marmite Towers is the fictional home of the Marmites.

Only one Mr Marmite. Reformed prat and apologising for being one in the past.

Tina Titz I need to make a claim

I've chatted to mr Marmite and quite liked him which says more about me than it ought if you read between the lines and take my post with a pinch of salt.

It's true you either love or hate Marmite, however if you haven't had a lick or a sniff of it don't judge...

ps, Mr Marmite you may well have been a prat a year ago, but at least you recognised it & have ammused me immensely.
