Hi is there a dress code as I wear a suit most of the time and I felt over dressed once when meeting a couple , so do the ladies prefer jeans and casual shirts |

Just smart casual does me, if a guy turned up for a meet with me in a suit I would feel he was over dressed but I suppose the main thing is that they are comfortable and clean |

I wear what I feel good in. Time, place and type of meet play their part in helping me to choose something I want to wear that, in my mind, fits the context. |

I did have a guy once who turned up in dirty jeans and a very scruffy t shirt which had seen better days. Put me off straight away. I personally prefer smart casual, and obviously clean |

"Looks like I need to get lots of jeans and casual wear try and loss the officer and gentleman look "
You can do smart casual. Have a look at loosening or losing the tie and jacket and see how comfortable you feel. |

No you don't. The advice given is generally to be comfortable. Being comfortable means or, will show, having confidence, which is priceless in this game. |

"I wear what's comfortable.
Fez
Velvet smoking jacket
cravat
Persian slippers
brown Y fronts (cream Y)
(No trousers ladies)"
Yes I can confirm the above is true |

I'm sure ladies will spend a lot more time to get ready for meets than you will OP. I take an hour but I've read that other ladies will take a lot longer.
So with that in mind, it's nice for us ladies to see that any meets have also spent a bit of time and effort in their appearance and presentation too.
It's very of putting when people ( men and ladies) turn up, looking like they've barely seen the shower and thrown on their nearest greying underwear.
Please also read in conjunction with my hygiene thread |

I just allow the circumstances and the place of meeting to define what I wear. I would generally avoid going straight from work (unless its lunch) because I would want a shower so I smell fresh and clean.
Smart casual is usually the way though. |

"you can never be too over dressed, better than looking scruffy.
"
Just rejoined another site like this and got a couple of messages from tidy looking men in suits, was impressed. |

Smart casual, definitely clean. Op I tend to go for younger but definitely have a soft spot for guys who wear suits or even better uniforms (my own personal preference). I wouldn't worry about wearing suits if you've had no direct complaints |

It depends I don't wear high street stuff, I like to wear clothes with clean, simple lines and colours (mainly blacks). The feel of my look mainly comes down to what shoes I'm wearing. So I'm very versatile on what I'd wear to meet anyone I have a lot of clothes to mix and match. So yea ...Plenty of style over here |

"Hi is there a dress code as I wear a suit most of the time and I felt over dressed once when meeting a couple , so do the ladies prefer jeans and casual shirts " . Smart casual jacket , ironed casual trousers , ironed casual shirt , clean shoes , freshly shaved and aftershave . Would never wear jeans , a t shirt or trainers . Looks scruffy

ALWAYS wear a collar....
Its a particular annoyance with me to see fellas walking around in round neck t shirts.
A smart polo shirt with a collar as a minimum for a meet.
Smelling fresh, with nice aftershave
Clean pants and trousers/jeans
Clean shoes |

Personally I would prefer a guy who has come home changed into something casual but clean and not scruffy. Clean and tidy is the most important thins for me rather than something a guy has worn all day. |
