Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979
All goods must be:
as described
of satisfactory quality and
fit for purpose
If they're not, the retailer is in breach of contract and you have a claim.
So how come my lucky dip tickets are never friggin lucky?

Luck comes in two varieties. They haven't overtly stated which variety you were being sold. You got bad lucky.

Luck comes in two varieties. They haven't overtly stated which variety you were being sold. You got bad lucky.
