Example we received a week or so ago: message from a local cpl ... She aged 18, him 43 (alarm bell 1). Three cock pictures on profile (alarm bell 2)... Apparently she doesnt like photos of herself. Next up the message constantly referred to "I" and no mention of them being a "us" (alarm bell 3) Message deleted and blocked |

You can tell men pretending to be a woman from a mile off (I get quite a few of these, despite being straight and looking for men). It's just the wording and the tone of the messages that always feels a bit off. |

It all depends what you class as a fake. We were fairly sure an unverified forum user was but were proved wrong when we bumped into them at a party. Unverified doesn't mean fake often the fakes are verified. |
