Well October is officially breast cancer awareness month and today marks the first anniversary of me being told I am in remission from it. It was thankfully caught very early and was therefore easily treated with a small lumpectomy and a bit of radiotheraphy.

Lots has been done in ways of awareness this year, the most successful campaign being the no make up selfies, that also raised vital research money and now the new one is that the 13th of October is the official No Bra Day and i shall be letting my girls fly free for the day in support and celebration, Who is brave enough to join me

I don't have much to let loose but it's for a good cause!

My friend has just been told she's in remission and I've witnessed her rollercoaster of emotions the past year.

Well done for beating it!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I hope you've had a good day. I did tell Coppa Feel that I would expose myself throughout October and I forgot.

I had my boobs squashed last month - if you get the letter don't ignore it.

A great thread. My Nan is now 88, was diagnosed and had a single mastectomy at 62. Always worth checking yourself regularly, her first sympton was her nipple went inverted.

Good luck to those still battling this horrible illness. xx
