Hey just wondering..
If I said I would be at a certain place at a certain time. And you were close / free ect. And offered to meet. How many people would actually do it you think?. Even if it was for a drink. A chat. Whatever happened?.
You think anyone would do it out of curiosity or could it be off putting?.
Just wondering how it would pan out.

Nope.
If I was in a coffee shop and someone posted to say they were in the same one? Probably still no.
Unless I'd viewed the profile and there was something that sparked interest or there'd been previous message exchanges/forum banter.
In fact - if there'd been none of the above I'd leave and go elsewhere!

"Not a chance in hell would I meet someone who I had never seen before! but you have first meets. So what's the difference?"
I have chatted to them for quite a while before I agree to meet, plus there would have been plenty of pics exchanged, huge difference!!! |

Well usually face photos are exchanged before hand so that's the difference |

Ah no I meant more of somebody would contact you. Swap a few play pics and say hmmm ok I'll see you there. Not as in literally just turn up. Perhaps I worded it wrong.

"nope..... they could be an axe murderer....
would you go on a blind date... because I wouldn't...."
To be fair they could send you a pic and still turn up with an axe |

the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands |
whereas I can understand peoples reluctance, spare a thought for TT here, every meet is a blind date in more than the sense of it. I can't rely on having seen someone to make my mind up that I'm going to be safe, or that the person is going to be at all attractive. Personally I think that any visual reliance on someones good character or an attractive personality is leading yourself wide open, so why not go for broke in the first place. |

I've had a few meets this way. I went and met one woman 20 minutes after she sent me the one or two messages it took to arrange. Was local tho so didn't go far to risk being stood up. We still see each other. |

"Let's just call it a bad idea lol.
Thought it could be exciting myself "
It could be exciting but if she is,as you say,a Munster and you walk past, what then? She gets upset you wasted her time? She realises you looked at her and thought she was ugly? Not really a good idea if you are going to decide on what she looks like whether you talk or walk |
