When my friend had his done he was told that because mens nipple are usually smaller than women's they have to go behind the nipple and into the breast tissue. Not sure a normal piercing gun would do that. |

I have mine pierced, it's a needle I'm afraid. Bit ouchy when their done but as long as you look after them that's the only discomfort.
Iv also had an ex with them pierced, I used to enjoy playing with it x |

Hello Donkeyballs,
piercing guns are not suitable, just grit your teeth and put up with the short burst of pain, well mine did hurt, unlike my frenum which was painless. Had it for many years now and it's been stretched to take a 5mm section ring.

i so love the look of this and keep getting so close to having one done - two fears stop me - one is losing the sensitivity (they are sooooo responsive) and the other is the body rejecting it ( i had two belly piercings and a christina migrate out) - dont think i willing to take the risk |

Both mine are done and I love them... ( don't get them caught in your fishnet body stocking though... Ouchie)
It has to be a needle and that's the best way... Doesn't hurt long although they do take care to heal and salt baths... Well with it though.
Love to know if I should change from bars to rings to avoid catching them x |

Im ok with needles thankfully as long as i can watch it go thro im cool .....

Had mine done 12 months ago and apart from a few seconds of real pain it was fine. Need to look after them though with salt baths. Having rings put in this month as keep catching on net underwear !  |

What sort of time scale ish to heal ? As i had the top of my ear done a long time ago and tbh it didnt heal for months

That's an area of low circulation so it takes a long time... A womans nipples can take up to a year to heal fully.., a mans about 9 months... It can be quicker or slower that's just the average my piercer informed me. |
