I have to share this with everyone. I had just about the happiest 90 minutes of my life at a gig tonight. The music was just...it carried me away & I was grinning away like mad. I don't really have the words to describe it, it was just phenomenal & made me so completely happy. Please please please, if Tycho ever play near you, go & see them. I spoke to the main guy after the gig & thanked him from coming.
It was just SO out of this world, happiness inspiring, beautiful, genuinely beautiful & amazing.

The genre is hard to define, it started out as one guy playing electronic music, but its become a 4 piece band of guitar, drum, bass, synth & electronics. It's actually the sound of happiness!
However, the downside was the bus journey home. I've never had a worse experience on public transport. No one was hurt, but I tell you, I wanted out of there. The woman sitting smoking next to me & the guy smoking behind me only added to the displeasure. |
