We all like to brag about famous people we've chatted to, and dropping their name in at any opportunity given so hears the thread to do it.

So people on my list:

Danny Devito and Ted Danson, whilst on holiday in New York met both on separate occasions, Danny was sat next to us in a restaurant and just started to talk to us one he heard our accent, he's a really great guy, down to earth and no ego.

Ted Danson was in Central Park, again, he picked up on our accent and started to ask is all sorts of questions about Liverpool and England (massive Beatle fan). Even managed to get a picture of him and our then 5 year old son, who still to this day doesn't know or care who he is ha.

Oh and last, Alex Fletcher (Brookside and Hollyoaks), quite the diva!

You just needed DeVito's wife to make it a perfect link between the two men.

I drop names in conversation but then cringe when I realise I have done it.

We were friends with Jo Joyner who played. . Erm. .a lady in eastenders. . I don't watch it . Her and her fella are lovely . Very cute twins they have too. Her fella did some stage acting years ago . .but is still hoping to break into the big time. . Don't think it'll happen though . . They moved away last year when her contract ended

I met Fred Elliott when he was alive.

The only people I'm ever jealous of are the ones who have met Michael Jackson, Richey Edwards and Princess Di.

I was in London on a school trip many years ago and as we passed the Disney Store a car pulled up and Michael Jackson got out.

Took us a wee minute to work out it was him. The store was closed for him and red carpet rolled out. He'd long red overcoat with collar up and black trilby pulled down over front of his face.

Bez from the Happy Mondays lives just down the road from me and spoke to him loads.

My best has to be the Queen applauding me and my supervisor after tackling a streaker during The Derby at Epsom.

John Terry and his family are living proof that money cannot buy class !! insufferable chavvy clowns !! on the other hand, Gordon Ramsay and his family were the other end of that scale, Mr Ramsay still owes me a quid by the way, when we were moving his games room from his London home to his LA home, he assured me his juke box worked, when I put a quid in it, it didn't !! he promised to send it back from LA - it never happened, nice guy with a nice family though, outstanding house too.

Met the Pussycat dolls on their first ever trip to Britain, they had just arrived on a flight and were tired and bedraggled, just looked like a load of kids on a school trip really. The Chippendales weren't much of a laugh, managed by a hard nosed Glaswegian, he pretty much controls their every movement, odd situation that

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I used to help my parents run a restaurant in York, not far from the theatre, so we got few people in. I didn't talk to all of them though. We had:

Robson Green (he was playing Jesus at the Mystery plays)

Leonard Parkin

Kevin Kennedy

Peter Davidson and his wife Sandra Dickinson

And a few more. We used to get them to autograph the menu and I think my Mums still got them somewhere.

Central

I don't name drop but have stayed multiple times with US President and his wife - very down to earth. Guess it keeps my security clearance high. Otherwise in same social circle as Hollywood A posters, but while most are great I'm not so accepting of some and their egos.

I just like relaxed people who are comfortable in their own skin who accept others for who they are. I don't name drop, I've slept with people I care about.
