Go to work. That way when you are genuinely ill you will have the days to take.

Even if I'm ill I talk myself.into going in lol can't remember the last sick day I had.

Go in, better banking your sick days for when you have a confirmed daytime meet!

I'd like a day off, having just returned from Oz, but I never pull sickies. Just get as much rest when you can, exercise and relax and it should reinvigorate you.

It's a shame we don't get allocated one day a year as a duvet day. I would have mine in the winter when it is too cold to go outside.

The only time I pulled a sickie, I got genuinely ill the week after and had to drag myself in even though I felt horrible. Seemed like karma!

There has been a study recently that showed pulling a sickie was good for you, due to not getting sick pay and incurring other penalties it is too expensive to do too often.

I wouldn't it just lumps all your work onto others and its not really fair.
