Vegetarian conundrum

So they don't feel around the dinner table they are missing out maybe that is why it looks like meat . lol I have vegies in family and I make a lot of things that look nothing like meat .  |

I am a vegetarian, I have been for over 20 years and I don't care what something looks or tastes like so long as there are no animal products in it, I gave up meat because I didn't like the idea of something having to die to keep me alive not because I didn't like the taste or look, if they invented something tomorrow that looked and tasted exactly like a KFC but was 100% animal free I'd eat it |

I am also a double decade veggie for the same reason and feel exactly the same.
I like the taste I just don't like eating anything my harvests alive and also may not have been treated in a most humane way.
I do cook meat for others, I don't force my believes on anyone, I just won't personally eat meat or any meat products. |

Been a veggie all my life. I can't stand the fake meat stuff. Quorn makes me sick. If I can eat something I will, having been brought up a veggie I can't process meat, it just makes me ill.
The fake meats are for the people who don't like the idea of killing the animals but still like the taste |

I think people eat it as easy .. my girl has been a veggie all her life don't know what it taste of but at times she eats veggie corn as easy. |

I've said this....my o.h is veggie and suggested I try as it could help my ibs....yeah fine but why eat chicken "style" nuggets and fake bacon.....if you miss it that much....eat the proper stuff
Or just eat veg.....and all other non meat stuff |

I've been a veggie since I was 3. I can't stand the taste, look or texture or meat. I think quorn etc is completely pointless, but I suppose it fills a gap for those who are doing it for ethical reasons. Makes it easier for others to cook at dinner parties etc when they don't know what else to give a veggie too, as some people have no clue/imagination |

They are looking at culling some of the ponies on Dartmoor for their meat. The local news last night was showing the menus they have come up with. I love meat but find horse meat too strong |

That's kinda the idea of the shit they call processed meat ?
Burgers vegi or meat are just a convenient shape . A comment or two above regarding copying the chicken nuggets shape made me smile , what part of a chicken are its nuggets lol
So in my opinion ironically it's actually many meat products that have been made to look and taste as little like the original animal or its anatomical muscle shape
Chicken nuggets don't taste like chicken they taste of salt, many beef burgers taste of salt and pepper , bacon tastes of salt , ham of salt ,
Sadly too many people like shit food full of addictive flavour enhancers and thus nuggets are desired be them re mushed chicken with extra salty shit or mushed mushroom spoiled with the same xx they just want convenient shit food x |

I often wonder this, if you're a veggie why eat something that resembles and is labelled like meat.
I saw a vegetarian 'duck' in hoisin sauce! What the fuck! Whatever was floating in that sauce never fucking quacked that's for sure. |
