"Why do people get so offended by 'cunt'? Both 'twat' and 'cunt' mean the same thing be it an insult or description of a ladygarden, I just don't get why some people cringe so much on hearing it."
I was very surprised at the power that word seems to have over here...like it is the absolute worst thing you can call someone...back home (in the great white north eh..)yes it isn't a nice word, but it is just used as another name for a pussy...never heard it used any other way until here really... |

I've actually heard people skirt around actually saying the word by instead saying "C U Next Tuesday"... Always makes me giggle whenever I hear it, no matter how innocently meant. |

When I call someone (in person) a 'cunt' they know the difference between being called a 'cunt' and a 'twat'
Now as for when I tell someone to play with my pussy... well you'll have to tell me what that sounds like |

Oh I so agree with that last bit! But I think it is a sign of intelligence to swear! Why use many words, when "Twat" covers all bases! |

Cunt just seems much more aggressive and demeaning. |

That's what I'm saying, I just don't understand why - they're both four letters long, they both mean the same thing (whether an insult or not), yet one is less tolerated than the other. Madness, cunting twatting madness! |

They don't mean the same when I use them
A cunt is a full on bastard of the highest order... a cunt (the person) does bad things to other people. A twat is just an ignorant/stupid person. |

So, David Cameron, for example, is both a twat AND a cunt? Now I know. Lesson learned |
