Should I be offended if someone calls me a BBW?

I know the definition and meaning of it and I clearly state im a size 18 in my profile,but when someone calls me that I'm unsure how to take it!lol!x

i wouldnt say BBW to me BBW is more size 28/32 upwards

Don't take it personally. Some (like myself) use it as a positive term. But if I didn't choose to call myself that then it may been construed as offensive to some.

Just explain that that's not how you wish to be addressed. X

Don,t worry about it the term BBW covers size 18 to 28 or even 32 i,d say a size 18 is cuddly or curvy

I get called it a lot I don't really like the term as I don't see myself as bbw I'm just fat but I don't take offence as I've been worse

I understand that the term can be used differently by each individual and I think that's where the confusion is.i suppose it does depend in what term they use it

The term BBW does mean Big Beautiful Woman,so any woman who is overweight,can be called that ,if she is good looking,otherwise,they are just LARDY ASSES Lmao

I take it as a compliment and refer to myself as one as I'd rather be called big and beautiful than ugly and fat. But like others have said if you aren't happy being referred to as it you could politely correct them
