Anyine know how to gix this blue screen on my laptop please "
Do you have a anti virus software on your computer? You could try running a scan, if it is something nasty then the anti virus software may remove it? |

Which operating system do you have? Windows XP, vista, 7,8 or Linux, apple or chromebook etc?
If it won't clear, I normally do ctr alt del, which may bring up a menu, or should shut down windows after a couple of attempts.
As others state, a virus and also a maleware scan, when you get rid of blue screen, would be ideal. malwarebytes - a free download, would check for malware. But you obviously need to get beyond blue screen for that to be downloaded or ran atm. |

It's an 'L' before the .exe, not a '1' by the way (krnl is shorthand for Kernel).
AV and anti-Malware probably aren't going to help you on this.
Last known good configuration would be my first port of call - http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/307852
If no joy, I would move onto chkdsk /r.

a lot of people have suggested software so far, but in my experience a sudden BSOD(or blue screen of death) is a sign a piece of hardware is having trouble.
Next time the PC is in windows, I would check the system and application logs for any erros(google this if you need to)
If you don't see anything in there, google memtest. you can boot the computer from memtest and run a few scans for faulty hardware(this takes hours)
If the above don't work, I would first try reinstalling windows.
your last option is find a swinger with computer skills , or go to a PC shop |
