I have seen a lot of profiles on this site, but i cannot recall seeing any by disabled people, or by members who list the disabled amongst the list of people who they are looking for.
BTW this is not an ad for a meet. Despite listing on my profile disabled welcome, i haven`t been contacted by any, which leads me to wonder if any do swing at all? |

yes, there have been people with a disability posting on the forums and they have fun on the site.
it's always best to mention the disability upfront, then informed choices can be made. |

what struck me when I was chatting to a guy in a wheely one night in the pub - is how difficult it is to approach someone new.
All guys know the terror of making that approach. Seems a lot worse when you're so visible+ it takes you a few spins to reach the candy.
Can't just quietly move in + hope no-one clocks you |

the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands |
"Can't just quietly move in + hope no-one clocks you " don't seem to big a deal for a wheelchair user, they want to try it when they can't see, they don't even know apart from hearing a voice who or whether people are around. Having people come up to you and say hello is fabulous, shame that it's a very few that will do that |

Good post. I guess i always knew there would be some disabled swingers on board, and maybe a better question would`ve been why they weren`t very visible, but given the posting by The tactile technician, i can see why some choose not to be upfront about their disability in profiles. |
