Can you not just look at it as a bit of light hearted Friday fun instead of taking it so seriously? I seriously doubt if anyone had a thread posted about them which lots of people commented on about the subject being nice, attreactive, etc that they would take offence at it?

And as for the comment somebody else made about it being a pissing contest, it was no such thing. It was a friendly thread in response to another thread on which there were plenty of positive comments about one person.

I didn’t take offence to the thread. It’s always nice to receive compliments, I’m not denying that.

I do however, have this overwhelming fear of people making assumptions based on my appearance. “He has a good body so he must be a dick head”. It’s very easy to say that I shouldn’t care what people think but when you hear peoples judgments it’s hard to ignore, especially when you know yourself that you’re not that kind of person. I’m not saying people have made judgements here, but it has happened in the past, and I have the messages to prove it.
