We have some finches in a cage, 4 bengalese males and 2 zebra females. We have noticed recently that one of the finches has been getting attacked and is loosing feathers.
I know we need some females for the boys, but that us proving hard to find. Apart from removing the poor bugfmger any ideas to stop him being attacked? |

Some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone.

"Invest in a external feeder - & free them!!
IMHO "
And kill them.
Caged birds have no idea how to survive in the wild. Especially one that is already injured/ill.
Op - Can you not get a cage separater, that way s/he can still see the others, but not get attacked. |
