Last night I got a.message apparently from someone I work with.
They knew what my mobile ended in, hardly anyone on here has it..
Said they would tell my bosses.I was on here
And sort of tried to blackmail.into having sex with them while at work so they wouldn't tell.
Was brave and told them no.
Unsure of what to do..
Should I.report them?
Had this before on another profile when they claimed.to be a member of family |

Not quite sure how they have worked out it is you, unless you used to have public photos. If the messages were via here I would report and block them. As for him black mailing you, so pleased you stood up to him.
Not sure what else to suggest Hun. Just hope he drops off the face of the earth x |

Dont back down your not do anything wrong, if it carrys on go to the police. Ppl can work out who u are we have had it happen to us but it they didnt threaten us, thank god. Just be really careful in the future. Hope it works out ok in the end chick x |

If you know who it is and feel up to it then report this person to your boss yourself. Asking you to have sex at work (using threats) will be looked down on by management.
Horrible situation, I would personally expose this creep and not feel ashamed of my promiscuity, at least mine is consenting his/hers is tantamount to rape. |

At the end of the day what can this person really do seeing as they are on here also?, I get that it is not the nicest thing to happen to someone but you have nothing to be ashamed of stand by your guns they will back off. |

Depends on your job I suppose - it shouldn't matter what you do in your private life as long as its not illegal . If you have a good relationship with your boss I'd tell him/her I wouldn't be bothered if anyone in my staff admitted to this or much else unless it affected their work performance . Be strong - they're weak if they have to resort to this . You'll come out on top  |

Police love a blackmail case. They should be very supportive if it comes down to it

as others have said... if you have a good relationship with your boss, I would tell them... and I would keep all the messages..... as like others have said, the police take a very dim view to blackmail
you could look at it like this... if the person really carried out that threat.. the first thing i'd ask as a boss would be ".... and you know this because?" so if they looked dimley on your activities (which they wont because it is your private life) he is going to look a lot worse for sending you that message..... |

Thanks everyone.. I won't be telling my boss even if I had a good relationship with them. One of.my closest friends found out I was on here and hasn't seen.or.spoke to me since. Yes I know it's my.private life some.people just judge.. I'm in work today so I hope it's runs smoothly like normal.
I didn't keep.messages I have some saved but being a site supporter only saves so.many. they haven't sent me any more.message since last night when they signed off with see you soon. Just scary. |

I had some.public pics. But put everything to.private. he had apparently taken screen shots then said he hadn't
hadnt. Just hope he hasn't. |

How dumb is he?? Surely if he exposed you to your boss then would he not be exposing himself? ?? If he let people know he saw your profile then he's letting them know he's got his own profile. Well done for not letting him get to you |

Somebody who apparently works with me has threatened to tell everyone I'm on this site just because I knocked him back after he was very rude to me. I feel your anxiety. I am going to ignore them and ride it out. You must do whatever you feel most comfortable with but remember that bullies usually get what they deserve xxx |

Take screen shots of his profile, get as much info as you can on him. Unfortunately the cowardly actions of someone like him. He could easily print off any profile and say it was you. He has as much to lose as you have, perhaps more so. I would trust and employ a swinger over a blackmailer. Sndcas it has bern said, he could end up outing himself. Be strong xx |

Report the profile to Admin, they will deal with it if someone is making threats on the site.
If you decide to go to the Police and they wish to take it further then there is a process for the Police to request information from Admin and Admin would of course fully cooperate. Its not in the sites interest to have people making threats.
People who do this are usually just trying to provoke a reaction and upset people - dont respond to any further messages from them, block them and let Admin deal with it.

Thanks everyone for your input. I told the shady low life that it would take it to the police and since then I haven't heard a peep. Was thanks to everyone that I was able to take action and stand up to this person.
After some of the things they said today it didn't add up I reckon I have had them blocked and they used to speak to me and are trying to get me back.
Either way it work till I had words of encouragement from you lot!! Thanks |

Screen shot everything about them on here in case they delete their profile. Then tell them to get stuffed. If they try to blackmail you again let them know you have evidence of their membership and that should you end up with work diffulties because of it, then you'll make it all public. |

I deleted my profile contents yesterday when I was angry that someone thought they could blackmail me and put all my pics to private only as I thought if he makes a new profile uses fake pics he could still see my pics. So hid them all. So no wasn't Sherlock lol |

Yes will do that once I've put my tea in oven and then email it to myself so it's not on my phone incase I happen to show pics to anyone or upload stuff to Facebook |

I did that last time when apparently a cousin found me on here.. And then a friend of a friend told a friend I was on here. I should have left them. But I like chatting and meeting new people. Living on mi own blows sometimes when you just want to chat to someone.
I'm just gonna ride it out and see how it goes next few weeks |
