Going out tomoz and the missus wants me to buy her some poppers just wanted some feedback, are they safe? And she'll proberly want a alcohol drink so is this ok? Any bad side effects? Cheers in advance. |

Poppers are great to get a quick high they are not addictive yes they do give you a headache but a couple of painkillers cure that only thing is DON'T use if on viagra or blood thinning meds |

Amyl Nitrate is a heart drug that opens up the arteries.
It gives an instant high that lasts a few seconds. Some like to take it as they orgasm to enhance the sensation. It stinks like vomit and can lead to headaches in some people. It is a legal drug to own but not to use in the way some do. |

Just be aware they do affect your heart and people have had issues in the past with them. Personally I wouldn't but thats your choice. |

Poppers became popular in the 90's in the gay scene as amyl nitrate increases the blood flow and intensifies feeling, I cant understand why a female would even think about using them unless shes thinking about taking it up the brown spot for the first time

i take it you amyl nitrite (commonly mispelled as amyl nitrate) ... the sale of which in Europe has been restricted for about 6 years. the stuff which you can buy in sex shops nowadays is either isobutyl nitite or isopropyl nitite. it has similar effects to amyl but doesn't relax muscles and has more common side effects one of which is head aches. it also burns skin on contact so may cause sores around the nose. another side effect though is it attacks the lungs and its use can cause persistant and unproductive cough for as long as two weeks and is linked with lung cancer. the worst side effect tho is that it has been associated with Eye Maculopathy visual impairment with central scotomata, associated to bilateral foveal yellow spots and IS/OS junction disruption..... probably better off steering your partner away from it as you said. |

Poppers are normally isobutyl nytrate solutions. They used to be quite harmless and great fun, however over years as our government have outlawed each new chemical recipe till we have reached the current situation where poppers are now toxic.
Steer away from them unless you can get them from Canada or the USA, (however be aware that importing poppers is classed as drug smuggling and will get you a long prison sentence). |

Just as you wouldn't go from teetotal to drinking a bottle of vodka one night, introduce your intake very gradually. Headaches etc can be avoided. Have much less than you guess you'd like and incrementally build up in tiny amounts. Less is more of the good effects and less of any potential side effects. Ignore strength claims and assume it's all the same and strong. And be aware if you're turned on you could overlook how much you've had so stay in charge and keep with the tiny microsecond sniffs. Totally legal high. |

Sale of Aymyl is restricted as it's a prescription medication - you also won't buy isobutyl compounds as both have been restricted from general retail sale for years. They now sell different stuff in Ukand Europe. Same precautions and advice applies. |

Some incredibly judgemental opinions on here considering the risky nature itself of the swinging lifestyle. Is it ok to give men blow jobs without condoms and drink alcohol but not to use poppers? Poppers did not even make it on to the list of the 20 most harmful drugs in society published in Lancet whilst alcohol was way up there at the top of the most dangerous substances that people use. |

I sniff poppers on occasions wen I want to let loose lol. They don't give me headaches but know ppl that do suffer them. I love taking them and gives me fantastic sensations n brings the dirty out in me lol..
I wouldn't recommend then with alcohol though xx |

I had one experience with it. I don't know how authentic they were but I wouldn't touch it again. It didn't enhance the sex,not for me anyway. His nose was constantly running,his breath smelt and tasted of chemical and he didn't seem all there. He had drank quite a bit though. The whole experience is one I wouldn't want to repeat. But, I think if you get the genuine article and use wisely you may enjoy them |
