When it comes to a mans wardrobe, what sort of styles do women prefer? Obviously there's a big component of the individual wearing the clothes, but ultimately do you prefer a guy who keeps it fairly subtle with blacks, whites and greys, or do you prefer guys with a more bright and colourful look?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Happy with the odd bright colours, but football or Hawaiian shirts wouldn't do it for me.

Prefer subtle generally. I'm not against colour but there never seems to be anything for men between subtle and 'woah, I'm crazy me' patterns.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I like a mixture - not all on at the same time.

If someone is afraid to have a splash of colour I think they might be too constrained in other areas of their life.

Depends on the item of clothing... A pale green blue cashmere is lovely, a bright Hawain shirt well . Most men know what looks good. I'm not a suit lover. Pale denim jeans, and a t-shirt. All depends on taste I guess.

I always wear my Time-travellers Leauge dress uniform. For less formal occasions I prefer a smoking jacket and Turkish cap.

It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it.

I met someone recently who wore a really nice burgundy patterned shirt. I'm not too fond of pink but I don't like pink in general. My grandson just bought a hype tshirt it's white with tropical colours swathed over it. It's really nice. Bit bored with the black shirt, black trousers look

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I love a man confident enough to wear colours.

I'm not talking eating a kids paint set and puked type colours tho.

Love to see a man well suited and booted with a coloured shirt on, and love colours as casual wear too.

I prefer high visibility orange and yellow on my men, ideally dirty as they have come straight from the work site

I prefer subtle but with a splash of colour. Really loud colours just don't do it for me. But I guess it does depend on the man and what they can get away with. I do really like a man wearing a pink shirt/top. But only if they can pull it off.

That's actually one of my favourites. Pink is stereotypically a girls colour, but a man can pull it off if it's balanced with the rest of his outfit.

Happy wearing most colours, and styles really. Apart from sportswear of any kind.

Quite like hats too.

Definitely more of subtle and dark colours or pastel colours.

Favourites on men though; Grey suits. Nom.

Red shoes, blue spats, spongebag trousers, purple velvet shirt and a heliotrope edwardian frock coat. maybe a picklegruber at a jaunty angle.

What doesn't do it for me is men in football tops and trackies. Instant turn off! I like a man in a nice pair of jeans, cool shirt/top and decent shoes
