Is it just me or is there no point to having "what you are looking for" on profiles? We have an age limit of 45 but still get freinds requests from over 45's. We also like to have chatted to the couple before adding them as friends, as stated on our profile, and yet we still get people wanting to be "friends" before we actually are! We as a couple don't want people who just want to see more pics of us asking to be friends, we like to communicate before hand. is this just us???

Welcome to our world.
I'm a big girl (ahem - height!!) so I've asked for 6ft guys. Yesterday tallest I got was 5ft3! And they all have bricks, telephone directories, chairs, "we're all the same sixe lying down".... yadda, yaddda,yadda .....
I've said single guys only.. every married guy on the site has messaged me!
I've said no couples ... don't stop them.
Part and parcel hun.........
Don't give up tho.... there are some top peeps on here and don't let the numpties who can't read or can't be arsed reading spoil it for you.

Some will say we are being pernickity.
But when constantly being messaged by couples who are not what we are looking for it gets reeeaaallllyyy annoying!
Just don't see what the point of a profile is when people don't read it!! |

They just don't....
I always try to reply but sometimes there is a button just underneath the message...... DELETE MESSAGE and move to next UNREAD

When someone has messaged us that has clearly not read our profile, we just block them.
If they can't be arse to read our profile why should we be arsed to answer lol

Just press the delete button and move on with your happy lives...we all have to deal with it,don't let it worry me though,lifes too short and whats the point in moaning, it won't change people from messaging that are unsuitable |

Why is this always such a big problem ? We see thread after thread about this same subject. Why on earth to people get so hot under the collar about what at the end of the day is nothing more than text on a screen.?
Delete the bloody message and move on to the next one and if neccessary, delete that one as well. In fact, delete the entire list if you feel that they are from people who don't fit your criteria, but for heavens sake don't get so steamed about it.
Of course there are people who don't read your profile, there always has been, always will be and no amount of debating or questioning will make any difference whatsoever

i agree entirely with redhot
its not as if someones turned up out side your house with 500 bales of straw you have to store in the garage for 6 months , its a message to click off or ignore
it reminds me of people in chat rooms who complain about being private messaged without first being asked in the main room , or that so and so has been being rude etc , jesus christ just put them on ignore
just like being insulted , pestered etc , its par for the course being in an adult life style ...........get used to it and suck it up |
