I'm confused people wink at you so send them a message and get ignored! Is a wink a way of showing your interested?

I do at least 32 random winks a day to just try and make people feel wanted.

Sometimes I message them to compliment them on random stuff in their pictures as well, like mirrors and shoes, Lego sets and stuff...
