Or focus on the wrong thing.... I've got thr worst habit of doing both these... I can also get fixated on one little detail and can get like

a dog with a bone...

If you do... How do you stop yourself?

Not really, though i do catch myself from time to time.

Try being present if you over think a lot!

I analyze everything and it's a proper pain in the backside.... I need to learn to just stop thinking so much... As you say it can ruin things. X

So how did you get over doing it...? did you do it for a reason ?

I over analyse most things, but accept that as just part of my nature. Unfortunately, makes me less of a do-er!

Any action right or wrong is better than inaction. If its wrong and you survive,

try something else

Still thinking about this one....

Yup done it today and ruined a fledgling relationship.

Also managed to scare myself shitless and depress myself by overthinking and googling when I got my results from the hospital. Need a stand by switch on my brain.

Yes I do and things stick in my head so when I'm having a bad day they all jumble up ,there's things over time that have dented my confidence I,ve dragged myself up again ....but they are always there

The Beatles had it right when they wrote "Let it be"

Thinking about the effect something is having on you or you on that something... just let it "be" what it is.

'Good' or 'bad' is just a label we put on things... let it be.

Simple.
