No, i'm not easily pleased. I'm actually quite critical when it comes to film, but I know how hard it is to make a film and things which we may take for granted or never notice, I see and value those aspects.

I appreciate the craft of film. One example is a film called Sucker Punch, it's a bad film but there are camera movements and set design and cinematography there that are very well done. It's a film which doesn't work but there are aspects in there which I see quality in and appreciate.

In recent times, Gravity. Visual effects were awesome, but what an absolute shite storyline. 2.5 actors. I say the odd .5 because the third actor is a voice and a body. To anyone who hasn't seen it, its about Americans working on a space station. Then they receive a message, to warn them of dangerous space debris headed their way. The debris has been caused by an incident on a Russian space station. ( surprise surprise). One of the guys is killed off very early in the film, followed some time later by George Clooney, leaving you for the rest of the film with the ramblings of Sandra Bullock..... Blah blah , who eventually finds a Chinese space station, with a pod, which enables her to escape back to Earth. Believe me, I have made it sound interesting !

I find Woody Allen a bit hit and miss, some are good, others not so much..I also think Shawshank is a good film but agree it's vastly overrated..same goes for Aliens..couldn't get through 5 minutes of Breakfast at Tiffany's as they were two of the corniest characters ever consigned to celluloid..Natural Born Killers was horrible, never wanted a film's main characters to get killed so early...

cloud atlas...I dont care about books..that was one SHIT film.

I'm not a huge tom hanks fan either(his acting in the film/accents were unbelievably fucking awful)

the whole film..ranks up with my most wanted to watch films of all time(based on the amazing trailer),but ended up being one I was glad I never went to the cinema to see when it was released here....about 4months after its US release.In fact I did go to see it with a friend, I pretended I hadnt seen it lol...she couldnt hack it so we left to the pub.

Was just bought the new Tom Hardy film Locke by my daughter for my birthday.

Almost two hours of just him, driving alone to London, talking shite about concrete and about an affair he had had.

She must really hate me....

Oh yeah, Dirty Dancing and Grease are dog shit too.

99% of any Stallone or Arnie movies;

'BANG' , 'POW' , 'BOOF' , 'GIZZUP', - anything that doesn't require acting!

*nice work, Robin, btw

Blair Witch Project - load of hyped up crap, so was that one about a giant monster filmed on a shakey camera.

Trollhunter on the otherhand - same techniques, but underrated...
